I got up to 116 pages into the second book of my trilogy.  I will see how I do writing this weekend.  It felt good to get those pages in.  It kind of got some of the things written I hadn't done in the first book.  Things I didn't want to reveal in the first book start to come out in the second one.

I'm not sure how the second book is going to play out yet.  I've got to think of new things that will have to wait to play out in book three.  I'm thinking I will kill someone off in book two but am not sure who yet.

I've got to decide who it will be.  There's a bad character that it could be but I don't know if I want her to linger into book three.  It may be too soon to kill her off.

My son had his birthday yesterday and it was nice.  He seemed kind of overwhelmed and didn't know what to think.  He is the one with Downs and his birthday has always been a small one.  Maybe felt it was weird celebrating his day.  He kept saying weird after.  I will see him this afternoon and see how he is doing today.

He will probably be wearing one of his new shirts.  He got a baseball shirt for the Vermont Baseball team.  He loves the mascot, Champ.

We had carrot cake.  I got some cool pictures.

I made myself write over the weekend and it was great to get back into it.  I handwrote 128 pages to book two of The Glorious Money Tree Trilogy.  Or series.  Depends on how long I decide to write it for.    It's getting good.

I should keep writing it while waiting for a job and maybe I will finish it.  I forgot how fun it is to write it.  Today I need to type it up.

So this post will be short.  Webroot keeps popping up today.  It's expired and the message keeps cropping up.  Pain in the neck.

I did go see Tammy this last Friday and I was a little disappointed.  It was watchable once but almost not worth the money.  It wasn't really funny.  I would say it wasn't Susan Sarandon's best acting.  It was okay.  Several people left in the middle of the movie.

I'm back at my kids house.  They had a vacation in Maine camping and are back.  So now I am visiting.

It's hard to believe July is more than half over.  I've been having a nice summer with my kids and even though I've been trying to find a job, maybe this is the way it should be for this summer that I don't find a job just yet.

I was pointed out that it may be a special summer for me and my kids before my oldest goes off to college in the fall.  And maybe fall time will be my better luck for finding a job.  Hopefully.  It's been hard not having one and only being able to call places to see if there is a chance they are hiring.

I'm faced with being an older adult against the college kids.  Not that I'm old but I'm not a young kid out of high school.

Today, was a bit of travelling for me.  I'm at my kids house for today and am going to miss them for a long weekend as they are headed to Maine for a camping trip.  I think that I may take in a movie and treat myself to Tammy.  I heard it was really funny.

I treated myself to a sausage biscuit today and got to talk with one of my son's friends who works at MacDonald's.

I'm going to work some more on a blue knitted scarf.  Boucle yarn.  It's probably halfway done and I checked with my daughter to see if she would want it.  It would be an extra scarf for her.

I've got my next knitting project lined up.  I'm thinking of a pink skirt for me made out of some lightweight rayon yarn.

I'm praying that next summer I have a job that is going to take up my time.  I need to find something and it's hard when it's taking so long to find something.

I'm doing some more drawing as well.  In a sketchbook primarily making paper doll heads.  Just sketches for the most part.

My cats left me a wet hairball surprise a few nights ago.  I got up to get them their early morning food and when I got back in the bed I felt something wet.  Turning on the light I knew what it was immediately.  Better the sheets than on the carpet.  It's harder to get it out of the carpet.

I do not know which cat is doing it but one of them is guilty as hell.

My other son has a birthday next week.  And on Monday I got treated to a double feature of Harry Potter the last two parts of it.  Deathly Hallows.

That was a fun day.

Enjoying my summer with my kids.

Summer seems to just fly by.  Here we are almost half way into July.  I've been having my fan on and don't care if the cost is a little more with the electricity.  When it's hot and muggy I want to be cool.

I had to fast this morning to have bloodwork done.  It was hard not to have my coffee!  I ended up having the coffee put into a carafe and brought it to my kids house.  So after bloodwork was done you can bet I was drinking coffee.  And I treated myself to a sausage biscuit.  MacDonald's grease today.

I've got one girl on MineCraft with her cousin.  They video chat each other and that way they can see each other when they are two states away.

My oldest has started to plan his trip out to Washington state for college.  He showed me the plan earlier this week.  He's got a few stays at some relatives houses and some campground destinations.

It's going to be hard once he goes out, I'm going to hardly see him.  My other son will have a hard time with him gone.  He will have to be calling my kids too.

I've finished knitting scarves with a certain color and now am working on one in blue.  I also took some time out to do some drawing.

Of course I've been spending time on indeed.com looking for jobs.  What a pain in the neck searching.  There's not a lot out there.  All I feel I can do at this point is keep calling and hoping.

Talking about hot and muggy!!!  Ugh!!!  Even the fans don't relieve us too much.  They certainly help but man it's uncomfortable.

I went into my son's room and it's so hot in there.  One of my daughters is wearing a long sleeve shirt!  We even fired up my cake pop maker to make some cake pop donuts.  Go figure.  The last of the birthday cake disappeared.

My girls had a nice birthday party last weekend and I ended up staying over to get to spend more time with my family.  I had my sister, my dad and her kids visiting.  It made for a nice time.  Part of the party was down at the neighborhood pool so there was some relief from the hot weather.

I got lots of pictures.  I haven't yet uploaded them to my computer.  I still have them in my camera and when I go to bed at night I bring the camera in and flip through the pictures.  I will eventually have to erase them off the memory card but not yet.

The basement is cool thank god.

Still no luck with finding a job but at least I have an interview tomorrow.  I'm hoping something ends up coming my way but I don't know when.  I think when I get home I'm going to really try to get cooled down.  Water!

I hear that new movie, Tammy is coming out this weekend.  I saw a preview for it last weekend and when i saw the main character I knew she looked familiar.  Then I realized it's Melissa MacCarthy.  It should be really funny and I may have to get it when it goes onto DVD.  Kathy Bates, Dan Ackroyd and Susan Sarandon are in it too.

It's the first movie in a while that I really would like to see sometime.

My girls and their friends watched the Conjouring on part of their birthday party.  Then they played the clapping hide and seek game from the movie.  Good times.
