Story Line Starters #3

STORY LINE STARTER: May 27, 2012

Couldn't he hear her talking? He hadn't seen her in a while and as soon as she saw him, he accused her of leaving a spot on the rug. She said, "I didn't do that. I haven't even been here."
And she felt really weird when later on she got talking to him about something that he was really interested in and suddenly he acted like he didn't know what she was talking about. He also seemed to sound like he didn't even care.
And she just realized that it had gone in one ear and out the other.
Then as she was talking about all kinds of things she suddenly felt like she was talking to a statue. Unresponsive wasn't listening to a word she was saying and it was like she was telling a story to a ghost.
He did have stress in his life, but even so. She was suddenly with him again after missing him for a little while. He had a crisis in the family and was acting like he was miles away. And suddenly, Ramona was with him, yet, she felt like she was not.
Driving home, he was quiet. She was talking a mile a minute about family stories. He parked the Volvo and said in a mean tone, "Lock the door."
And that was it. For the rest of the night. He was quiet. He fell asleep and Ramona wondered what he would do if she just up and packed up her things in the middle of the night and left for home. What would he think then?

Devils a poem

The following poems are some more of my old poems I found and wanted to get typed up.

Devils

Sean, Jake, Mollyanne an Julia,
all wonderful. cute, funny and sweet children
blessed on the day they came into this world.

My children each in their own ways,
has filled my waking an sleeping moments
with joy and laughter.

And with four young children, not a day goes by
without some surprises an happenings.

Watercolors trickling across the table,
drops of water seeping through the cracks
an onto the floor.

Also, a dish of oatmeal, empty, but not really.
As oatmeal has been stuffed into the old Tweety mug
and there are green food coloring chunks.
Someone has been playing scientist.

Markers turn into a homemade nail polish for
little fingers and toes.

And crayons written on the canvas of the
living room wall.

Why women want Sexy Lingerie and Why Men love her in it!!

Here is a fun website for sexy lingerie from a fellow Linkedin friend.  Below are some of the sexy lingerie outfits and costumes.  A few of a large selection of great products.  There are teddies, swimwear, clubwear, corsets, lingerie babydolls, and many other pretty and fun accessories to delight your man.  And there are also a good selection of men's items too.

http://www.talksexylingerie.com/

Why do women want sexy lingerie?  And Why do men love seeing their women in these delectible items?

The biggest reason would be sex appeal and the primary need to spice up our sex lives.  Who wouldn't want to wear some of this stuff?  I personally like the french maid outfit.  And I like the bottom one but would need one in a size to fit women who have had multiple children.

And what man wouldn't want to see a woman in the sexy santa lingerie?  Most would go hummada hummada!  Growl.  Moan.  Say sweet nothings and then some.  And then they would want to tear it off you faster than you can put it on.

I visited the site earlier today, and there are lots of really pretty stuff.  You can be a sexy geisha, maybe a whip girl, bondage, and lots of other costumes.  Maybe your man wants you to be a nurse or a cop.  Maybe you want to have an outfit for every role you want to play.

Maybe you want to be Bonnie and Clyde and you need a cops and robbers set.  Go for it.  There's a sexy porn nurse outfit.  That one was a little risque for my tastes, and some of the clubwear would be too.  Maybe you want to be your lover's private stripper and you have access to a private strip pole.

Or you want to be a quaint school girl like the above picture.  Or the sexy bunny or cat girl.

There's also some really pretty chemises, bras, and other stuff.

Why do we need it?  Sometimes we may feel like our sex life is in a rut and we want to spice it up.  This is just the place to go to get some little fun neccessities.  Wouldn't you just love to turn on your favorite hottie music and stroll erotically into the room and surprise him and arrouse him?  Turn him one while he's staining the furniture or got his body underneath the kitchen sink?  Okay, that's your plumber.  Whoops!!!  Oh, wait, I forgot.  He's role playing, for Christ's Sake!!!

Or maybe he's mowing the lawn and you go out in your red raincoat and pleasantly smirk and flash him.  A sure fire way to get him to stop mowing and take a break.  Or he will mow the lawn in two minutes for that fact!

Or you play hide and seek and go hide in the closet and he opens the door and says, "Peek-a-boo!  I see more of you!"

Or he's in the spare room bending over to find that darn cat that's not supposed to be in the spare room.  He turns around and you show him yours.  He knows he's just hit a gold mine.

And speaking of mines, maybe you want to play the game:  Honey, Little Timmy's stuck in the well, can you fish him out?"

"Sure snookums."  And when you pull him out, he's got his hot to trot man accessories and you have your clubwear on.  "Let's get it on."  Or better yet, stuck in the well together is a good ending to that one.

Or maybe you would rather play fireman and geisha stuck in the hot flames.  He's got his skimpy fireman badge and thong and you have your geisha costume on.  He'll love rescuing a rip roaring geisha sex kitten!!  Okay, a geisha with some cat ears.  Get inventive.

And make sure there are lots of candles and hot massage oils to set the mood.

Or maybe he's on the roof fixing the leaky hole  and you climb up in your barely there push up bra corset and a sliver of a thong.  Mind you, you're in the countryside and nobody else is looking except for your dog or cat or the little bunny rabbit or raccoon in the field.  Wait, no the raccoon is waiting in the dumpster after you're done and you're ready to throw out the trash.  And you quietly sneak up while he's pounding in a nail or a screw.  Oh wait, you can't put a screw into the roofing.  Or can you?

Or you decide you want to play woodland nymph and werewolf.  The hairier the better.  Who doesn't love a good werewolf or vampire.  That's the rage these days.

Or maybe you are playing hot and horny hag and sea faring sailor.  Go get some pirate bootie.  Okay and some Pirate Bootie popcorn to go with it.  Who says you can't eat while you play?

Well, anyway, if your marriage needs some extra spice even if you want to just play it normal Girl meets boy or Jane and Tarzan, there's some really fun lingerie just for you waiting there.

You set the mood.  Every relationship and marriage needs some fun and spice to keep it alive.  Your man will thank you for it.

Okay, well, I'm really none of the above, except for Girl Meets boy or Jane and Tarzan.  I'm really quite tame.  I like the sweet pretty stuff.  And yes, I even have the old Nana style nightgowns.

But the ultimate thing my man likes is my birthday suit.  Nothing beats that.

And the really fun thing I get to do as a writer is live vicariously in the writings.  So if anyone wants a good hot Shades of Gray style mystery read, check out my first published mystery at Barnes & Noble, and Amazon online.  Black Roses.

My kids can't read it until they are adults.  It's probably as hard core smut, bodice ripper as I will get.  Well, maybe more hot mysteries to come.  Main character is a stripper, so what do you expect?  Ha ha.

In real life, I'm as tame as they come.  Quite modest.

So, when in doubt.  Spice it up with Talk Sexy Lingerie.

My Thoughts on The Zodiac Killer and other last nights movies.

Well, last night I pulled an up all night.  After coming home to my house at night, I decided to pop in an old movie.

I like to relax and unwind with a movie when I come home.  There's nothing like relaxing on the couch with a few blankets and having my two cats relax on me.  Mamma and the girls, Luna and Ella.  Ella is a siamese tortie point and Luna is a gray siamese.  They miss me all day.

Sometimes I like to pop in my newest Breaking Dawn Part 1 movie.  I think I have worn that one out.

I got the biggest kick on this telephone scene where she is trying to get Cary Grant to come to her house and  she pretends to fall and get things crashing around her to make it look like the leopard is trying to hurt her.  So of course he rushes over.

And doesn't this classify all old black and white romance movies.  They all ended this way.  The girl and the guy realize that they need to end up together for the rest of their lives.  And I got the biggest kick that she decided that she was in love with him in the very first hours of meeting him.  And the next day at the end of the movie, they both confess their love.  Ha ha.  Not too many movies in today's world end up like that in a 24 hour time span.  Only in the old world.

But last night, I decided on watching Bringing Up Baby with Katherine Hepburn (my all time favorite) and Cary Grant.  I simply love her movies.  Well, I watched it and I can't remember seeing it all the way through. Or it was years ago and I forgot parts of it.

What a fascinating old movie.  I totally forgot that Katherine Hepburn talked a mile a minute and was just a totally perfectionist of an actress.  She was quite eccentric in lots of her films, but she was always so inventive in her acting.

I think all these older actors and actresses had to be perfection.  They had to really know how to captivate an audience without all this added music and special effects to make movie going fun and appealing.  All they had to rely on were the background sets and the photographers to get the scenes right and their strong acting   was essential.

In those days, it seems that the conversations were completely different to movies today.  It was like another lifetime.

I had to laugh how in the beginning of the movie, Cary Grant is engaged to some really shallow girl that is marrying him only to support his career.  No love shown.  No sex appeal.  And then enter Katherine Hepburn and the chemistry is perfection.

So, I watched that with complete interest.

Then I decided to go to bed.  But after maybe an hour, I just wasn't tired and decided to get up and play another movie.  And find a few more outfits to list on ebay.  I found some skirts that were too tight, so will later try to sell them.

The next movie I popped in was Signs.  That's another good movie.  Don't get me wrong.  All these modern day actors and actresses are really good too, but nowadays, there's so many special effects to enhance things and sometimes their scenes don't always have as many words in them.

Mel Gibson and Joaquin Phoenix?  did a really good job in that movie.  I loved it.  And to really make you think, I love the scene where he and his brother are talking about there being no coincidences in life.

When you think about it, are there?  Do you think people just get lucky?  Or do you believe that everything has a fate?  That everything happens for  reason or has already been set in stone by the higher up.

That feather in Forest Gump just happens to float wherever it's going to go, lands where it wants, stays for a little bit and then goes on to destiny.  People are like that too.  We have our life mapped out for us whether we choose to believe that we can set our course or are we just playing out what was fated to be?

A man obsessed.  I would say so if in real life he ended up writing two books about it.  Maybe he should have also written a book about how it destroyed his marriage.

So in real life, was Lee a killer?  What do you think?

Which now brings me to Zodiac.  I watched this one last and my movies ended at 5AM.  I've seen this one several times and hadn't seen it in a while.  It is a very interesting movie.  And based on the real life Zodiac murderer in California.  The murders started in the late sixties and seventies.  One of the first murders was done in December 1968.  The year I was born.  I was born in February.  So when my mom and dad were probably hearing about this on the news, I was about ten months old and oblivious to it.

I never knew about it until I watched the movie for the very first time.  It fascinated me, yet chilled me at the same time.

I guess you can say that destiny played a big role in the victims lives.  When you see the first young couple that he kills when they are parked at a lover's lane, you begin to think, yes, they just had to be there that night wanting to maybe neck and kiss or get it on.  At least it looked like she wanted some action, yet the guy was reluctant to give it.

And then the other car with wild teenagers decided to leave, which opened it up for the Zodiac to come in and quietly come in and kill them.  But I'm thinking the guy lived as I think he is the one that they show in the end of the movie, confirming that Arthur Leigh Allen was most likely the killer.  I would have to watch it again to catch everything.

It's one of those movies that really make you think and is a taut thriller.  Like a cat and mouse type of movie.
And don't you hate it that she didn't have the smarts to turn the key in time to just drive away before Zodiac got out of the car?  The guy wanted her to leave.  And she was in a role of adultery, cheating on her husband.  I wonder if that part was true or just an added tidbit to the movie, to make her look like she was sinning.

And then the Zodiac starts sending the cops all those incripted letters for them to decipher.  And he talked about the old movie The Most Dangerous Game which may have inspired him, according to that other suspect that Jake goes to visit towards the end of the movie.  That is the part that makes me torn about the two actors that played the biggest suspects.  On one hand we have Lee as he liked to be called that ended up being Jake's number one suspect.  The one that he had all the circumstantial evidence on, and then the other guy who he pays a visit to.

He walks in and they start discussing the Sign of the Zodiac that was on Lee's watch and in the old movie. And then he takes him down into a dark basement filled with old movie reels.  And as he's there in the dark of his sinister existence, he decides to hide his face and say, "Maybe he was inspired by the movie."  And suddenly Jake feels like he just walked into a trap and this guy is most likely the killer.

And what makes you believe it is the fact the door is locked.  Why?  Why did the guy lock the door so he couldn't get out?  Was he planning on killing him?  He must have known Jake's fear when Jake starts to ask if there is anyone else in the house.  And then, we are paused while we try to figure out if he is going to let Jake out of the house.

And he turns the key and lets him out and laughs as he leaves with his tail in a tightly wound knot.

My thoughts are, maybe he could have been the killer and just decided to let him go.  He decided not to play with his food for one time and let his mouse go free.  The reason we think this is because he locked the door.  If he had been an innocent man, he would have never locked the door on him.

Unless if he just wanted to toy with him and make all his theories go in and out the door.

Yet, my reason that I also thought that it was Lee was the voice.  You hear the killer's voice throughout the movie and they make the voice sound like Lee.  And he just looks like he could be the killer and all the circumstantial evidence leads to him.

But that was all it was.  Not enough to book him and sentence him for the horrendous crimes.  And that poor couple at the lake.  What a wicked fear to be somewhere like that and suddenly helpless, and they suddenly knew that they were going to the place of no more tomorrows.

And the lucky girl who got away and saved her baby.  I'm wondering if that one was an added scene or if it was also based on facts.

And man, those police were obsessed.  Especially Jake, who came so close to ending his Dirty Harry life.  No wonder his wife decided to leave with the kids.  She wanted to get them out of harm's way.

And the Zodiac threatened to kill the little kiddies as they hopped off the bus.  What a nightmare had that ever happened.  Lucky kids.  Fate was on their side.  The angel's feather decided to let them stay in their destiny.

No wonder the woman screamed when she read that letter.

So, earlier this morning, I found myself going to a few sites where I could read up on the real events.  I didn't know this but since 2004 till now, the case has been re opened.

There have also been a number of people that have confessed to their father being the Zodiac killer.  However it is stated that a bunch of these confessions didn't jell.  And one of the girls who confessed, also I think had confessed to being the daughter to John. F. Kennedy.  So of course her story went in and out the door as full of baloney.

But I guess to this day, it is being investigated and is one of the most horrific acts in history.  And it will probably remain a mystery and will die with the true murderer.

Let's see, in 1968 he was probably in his thirties or forties or older.  And if he had seen the 1932 movie that inspired him, he had to be older.  36 years in between the movie and his first killings.  And he was probably a teenager when he saw the movie.  I wouldn't think a young boy would have seen the movie and become inspired to kill at such a young age.  But, you never know.  From 1932 to 2012, that puts him at 80 today.  And if he was a teenager during 1932, if the man is alive, we are most likely looking at a ninety year old or a man on the brink of his 100th anniversary of his cold blooded life.

Do you think he can cleanse himself of his wrong doing and go to heaven?  I would think not.  I can't imagine he will ever dwell in heaven.  There's got to be no angel up there preparing  room for him.

He will most likely go to hell.

But he wanted to stop.  Do you often wonder if he could have been married and maybe the Zodiac did have kids.  And he kept his secret to himself.  Or was he this man that was a loner as he wanted to keep it that way.

I would think that there would be no room for love in that black heart of his.

What if we were able to go into the mind of the killer after he unlocked the door for Jake?  What if afterwards it showed him with his private thoughts, sitting down at his little black writing desk to write down another letter that he decided never to send.  And he ends up throwing out all these dark, dark letters and poems with his deepest black Glad trash bag.

Where does his mind go when he goes to sleep every night?  Does he think of how he felt when he killed that young wife on the lake.  Memories of stabbing her to death and how he felt his power when he held the sinister handle in his filthy strong hand.  The thought of blood seeping into his unkempt mind.

All his victims were like fragile sea urchins breaking in his presence.

I got this picture from Martha Stewart when she shared it on her site one day.  I want to get my own collection and take my own pictures of these cool things sometime.

Weekends are for Relaxing

                                                       Jennifer Jo Fay Fancy Photography

This is hanging on my neighbor's door.

Weekends should be for relaxing.  Do you sometimes feel your time getting crunched short and it gets too hectic?  Sometimes we just have to learn to let the weekends go with the flow.  All year long, the kids live for the weekends.  They just want to chill and not have to think about school work.

And the weekends are also a great time for the parents to just relax and hang out with them.  Don't you love getting to have a nice cup of coffee and just actually have the time to let it linger?

Or have a weekend where you can order pizza, not have to cook and spend some time by the pool.  Have a inviting dip into the cool water.

Pop popcorn on Friday or Saturday evenings to go along with a movie.  And sometimes popcorn mixed with butter and Parmesan cheese just is a nice good snack supper.  Or just a bowl of cereal.

Last night, I watched the new Jane Eyre movie that came out in the last year.  It was good.

My weekend usually starts on Fridays, when I start to take time away from posting and I go yardsaling and simply relax.  It's not that I don't want to write.

But I also start to look at the craft pile next to me and say, "Hey, I've got to get that done too."  The pile gets higher, and I leave it longer.

So, I come back from yardsaling on Fridays and Saturdays and then my day becomes filled with taking my pictures of the items and I begin the listing process on Ebay.  That part does take time.  And the more items I have to list, the longer it takes.

Yard saling was fun.  I found lots of stuff to list, and then I found some craft items and a few frames.  I like looking at the free stuff too.  Sometimes there isn't anything that I need, and then other times there are things I can use or sell.  Any little bit will help me out right now, while I am feeling a money crunch this month and next.  Next month, I'm going to be able to breath a little bit, which will be nice.

But this month, has been so tight.  Don't you hate it when you feel like you have to watch every penny?  It's no fun.

August is going to be a better month, where I can treat myself to some small things.  Get some gourmet foods at an antique shop if I want to .

This morning in the free stuff was a nice woman's pocketbook, and a bunch of kid outfits and sneakers and some ballet shoes.  I'm keeping the ballet shoes for photography.  I need to clean them up a little bit.

So, I got the outfits listed this morning.  I'm not sure how they will do.  The kid outfits just don't seem to be selling well right now.

And I found a few antique dolls this weekend for a very small amount.  One was for $1 and she is really cute.  I think I might keep her.  I had to glue her head in this morning and sawdust kind of comes out.  I might have to put her in a kitchen plastic bag.

                                                     Jennifer Jo Fay Fancy Photography

The other doll I have listed but I'm not sure if she will sell.  She has that really old cracked face style.  She's definitely vintage and would need repairs.  If she doesn't end up selling, I might end up keeping her and repainting her eyes and lips.

But the weekend's should be a nice relaxing time, when you stop doing what you normally do all week and learn to slow down.

Right now, I've got two kids down cellar playing on their dad's big arcade games.  He has Galaxy, Black Knight and Light Two Thousand.  It was fun to start hearing those firing up.  Black Knight talks to you as you're playing.

I haven't played those in years.  They were lots of fun.

And Mollyanne is over her grandparents house at a sleepover and will be back later.  When she comes back, I will have to show her the pictures I got of the little rabbit who hangs around the yard.  Years ago, there was a big one and this year there is a little tiny one.

                                            Jennifer Jo Fay Fancy Photography

I showed up early this morning and caught him on the front lawn eating.  I got some pictures but it's not close up.  I suppose I could crop them.  That's the thing when photographing a wild animal.  You usually can't get super close unless if you have a good zoom lens.  My macro is usually the lens that is attached to the camera.

                                          Jennifer Jo Fay Fancy Photography

                                                   Jennifer Jo Fay Fancy Photography

Then, I brought my little antique chair over this morning for a few outdoor photos.  The ones with the clematis was a few houses down from my apartment in front of a veterinary office.  I saw the flowers a few nights ago and remembered to bring the camera home last night and took them this morning.

It's been a quiet weekend with Mollyanne gone.  Julia got treated to the ice cream truck yesterday and she and I watched The Fantastic Fox movie (Roald Dahl).  I think George Clooney must have been the voice for the fox.  It definitely sounded like him.  It was cute.

And yesterday and Friday, Julia and Mollyanne were outside playing with their friends, Lily and her sister and at other times with little Bailey.  I felt bad for Bailey sometimes out of the year.  He would come some afternoons wanting to play with the girls and neither one would move to go talk to him.  Sometimes they just wouldn't want to play with him.

So, I would tell them that they at least need to go to the door to tell him that they couldn't play today.  And then they would do this two or three days in a row, and on the third day, I would tell them that they need to say yes and play with him.

Now, I think they want to more as the weather is nice and they want to be outside.  And last week, I heard that his family is moving, which is too bad.  He is a nice kid and they like to play together.

And he and Mollyanne were playing on Friday and they discovered that Julia had fallen asleep.

What a good time to take a nap on the weekend.  Anybody have a nice hammock to fall asleep in?  That is the best when you can just find a spot in the shade somewhere and curl up and catch some ZZZZZ.

And then, for me, I caught up a little bit and Julia and I washed our felted bangle bracelets.  She's been finger knitting hers.  She knows how to do it on five fingers.  I can do it on one finger, but I haven't done it on five.  She started doing this when one day I showed her this elaborate Pinterest picture of someone knitting with five fingers.  But that picture had also an elaborate design.  But from that, she figured out how to do it with her five fingers.

Maybe sometime, she'll let me take a picture of just her fingers knitting and I can show the family on facebook.

So, I also took time to sew up some of the bracelets and I got a start on Julia's leggings last night.

And I got my first bracelet pattern for sale on Ravelry.  I've got the button for it on here, but it looks like the picture might be broken.  But it would take someone interested there for the pattern.

That was cool to get my first design for sale there.  I tried to get it into the etsy shop, but I couldn't figure out how to get the pdf file in there.  There's got to be a way to do it, as other people are selling their knitted patterns there.  I asked one of the girls that I bought an Ellowyne wilde doll pattern from how to do it.  I'll have to check and see  if she responded to it.

Julia's leggings are going to be cute.  I started in navy blue ribbing, then made some holes to put a drawstring through and now am starting in a striped pattern with a lace pattern too.  I'm thinking of having some red in the drawstring so it will be a red, white and blue color theme.   And it's going to be my own design, so when it's done, Julia said she would pose for me.  I told her I need a picture of just the leggings on her legs to sell the pattern and she has agreed to do it.  But she can also pose with her face too just for family and friends.

Julia's leggings.  It's almost three inches so far.  I measured her leg last night with my pink tape measure and she got laughing as it tickled her.  I figure I will need to make them about 12-15 inches at the most.  15 might be good if she wants them to have a little slouchy look to them.

Of course they won't be done for Fourth of July!!  Darn it!!  I definitely want a multi color drawstring with red in it.  And I'm thinking it could be cute with a drawstring lacing up the front.  She will be styling at school in the winter or any time she wants to wear them.  I HOPE SHE WEARS THEM!!

Both girls want me to make them a skirt now, after seeing my finished skirt.  I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to find a pattern their size.  I've seen some for sizes up to 6X or 7/8 at the most, but they're into the 10-12 size now.  If I can't find one, I might have to get a smaller pattern and write a pattern from it to fit them.

And last night, I sewed up most of the straps for my bag from my Aunt Harriet's curtains.  It's almost done.  So after this post is done, that will be what I am doing.  I'm watching the kids while my ex treats his dad to that new alien movie.  I think Sean went with them too.

So, it will be a relaxing afternoon.

And then, next weekend is going to be a hectic girls birthday party at Pizza Putt and then a cousin sleep over.  They're going to have their friends sleep over on their actual birthdays.

I think I will keep posting more of these posts.  I hate when you know a saying and recognize it and you can't remember who wrote it.  Or if you remember part of a saying and you know you've got it worded wrong.

I started a little black saying book when my mother was alive and all the relatives wrote in it.  It was our coffee table book. One night, two of my uncles were drunk and got writing in it.  It was really funny.

Maybe I'll dig out the book and those ones can be the next post.

Reflecting.

A foggy morning down at our neighborhood park.

                                                           Weeping Willow Tree

Today has been kind of a lazy day.  Last night I watched Something Borrowed and almost cried at one part.

And then last night, I got thinking about my novel, The Glorious Money Tree.  I'm thinking of having a dedication page to it.  I didn't do that with the first one I published, but am going to do it with this one.

I'm going to dedicate it to my mother and my four children.  And I'm thinking of having an introduction or a separate dedication piece just for my mother who was my icon.  So that will be in the works someday.

But this morning, I got to the kids house and started to check my eBay listings and then my mail and pinterest.  I spent at least a good hour having fun at pinterest and then got my packages ready.

And then, my youngest, Julia wanted me to take her to Pet smart for some goldfish.  She had about fifty cents to spend.  So, I told her we'd go, but she had to come along on my other errands.  Then after the post office, we went to Kohl's to do some Father's day shopping.  Of course we ended up with other things too.  Both girls got a tank top and we splurged and got some jewelry.  Afterwards, I told her that was part birthday and a summer treat.

I usually only go to Kohl's one or two times out of the whole year.  It's out of the way and I just don't want to go down and shop for things I don't need.

I was looking through some photos last night and I found some of my apartment when I first moved in and it was filled with stuff.  I've got a practically bare apartment now.  I've got no furniture in my kitchen.  I'm hardly there.  Two pieces of furniture in my living room that will come with me.  My couch is getting thrown out when I finally move.  And one of my kids will get my TV.  Randy has two TVs.

I've got a three mirror vanity and chair of my Nana's that will be coming.  And one table in my studio that will come and then there's just a bunch of photo boxes and supplies.

And in my bedroom I've got two bureaus and two benches that will come.  And the rest is little stuff.  I bet if we stay where he is right now, I probably could slowly bring down some stuff and someday just pay to send my furniture down.  But that's down the road.  That's why over the last three years, I have been majorly cleaning out my stuff and making it so it would be so much easier to move.

A few years ago, I was thinking of saving up for a condo for myself, but then I met my boyfriend.  At that time, I was just thinking, what if I'm single for the rest of my life.

Thank-god for dating sites.  Although you have to be careful too.  And when I was first separated, my friends kept telling me that you don't want to meet anyone at a bar.  I did go to the bar a few times myself.  I did meet a guy once and was just talking with him.  He was this long haired guy named Bruno.  He seemed nice and the next few times I saw him there, he had a friend, so the three of us did some dancing.  But just friends nothing more.  I could tell Bruno was a regular and although he was a nice guy to talk to, he wasn't dating material.

And my friends also said that when people are at the bars they are very often coming with baggage.

Back to shopping, Julia and I finished up with getting the fish.  While we were there I bought some rocks for a fun idea for pictures for the blog and other stuff.

I came back and after lunch, I started in on the stuff.  I got this frame that I had taken the picture out of and started adding some ribbon to it with a bow in the middle.  With the same ribbon I duct taped the ribbon to the back of the frame.  Right now it's just duct taped but later, I probably should glue it onto the back and tack the ribbon better to the bottom.

Then, my other daughter, Mollyanne wanted me to paint with her.  We searched for water colors and she found some and I used some of those Folk Art acrylic paints and started dabbing the frame.  It's hanging from the crab apple tree for today.  I will modge podge it later so the paint won't wash off.

And Mollyanne posed outside behind it for some pictures.  It's really cute.  I'm tempted to find a few more frames at my house or at a yard sale to make a few more different ones.  They have their birthday party next weekend and my sister is coming up with her three kids and my dad.  It would be an awesome set up for some fun kid pictures.  And for other photography uses too.

So that is that fun project.  I was so tempted to throw out the frame last week or before that as I didn't know what I was going to do with it.

I have to secure the handle at the top better as the frame fell out of the tree and the handle came apart.

The other fun project was writing on the rocks with a thick sharpie marker.  I just got thinking up different words and of course the alphabet.  I wrote on both sides.  So there is a lot of opportunity to spell out different things.  I've been seeing some pictures that people have done with those boggle blocks or scrabble tiles.  It's kind of a neat idea and I'm thinking I'd like to do my own with my own ideas.

These are fun.  The fabric they are on is a bag I sewed up last night and I need to sew on the handles.  It is a quilt like pattern from my Aunt Harriet's curtains at her camp.  I brought her curtains home and later cut them up for different things.  Sound of Music ring a bell? Ha. Ha.

I like using people's photos sometimes, but I would rather use my own if I can.  But sometimes we just start blogging about something and you can't help but use someone else's photo.  It could be something of having no way to get a picture of.

Like for me it would be some of the kid things or fashionable pictures.  My kids I won't put on here and it's hard to get them to pose for stuff.  I wanted just their hands and their friends hands last week for a fun picture and they wouldn't cooperate so I didn't get it.

And I have no way of having models or adult women modelling something for me.  Most of my friends wouldn't want to do it.

Someday, I'm thinking if I want to have a certain image to start with, I might just have to rely on some picture  for a beginning and then take off on my own creation.

But with the rocks, I am also thinking this would be a fun thing to have around when I'm someday a grandparent.  Of course I would have to watch small children with them.  But  if you are right there with them, it is a stimulating thing.  Like also having a  rectangular Rubbermaid container filled with rice.  Jake got to play with that sometimes at his therapy visits when he was a baby up until preschool.

She was always pulling out different things to stimulate him.

But kids could have lots of fun with trying to spell words and sentences.  And same with adults.  I have to modge podge these later.

I'm going to have to get a good sized collection of these.  And flowers will go well with it too.

Well, I think that is about it.  I'm going to publish and then have a quiet creating craft afternoon.  Well not yet.  Mollyanne and I went into the back yard jungle of a vastly spreading wisteria that doesn't flower up in the north.  It's like walking into a jungle down by the basement door.  I went in with my clippers this afternoon and picked some ferns and my ivy and mint.  I've got them in a vase right now and my ivy is in a small fish bowl filled with water.  I'm going to leave them and see if roots grow.  It's also growing up the side of the house this year.

My ex likes the jungle.  It's kind of cool.  You have to stoop to get in and then I had white peonies in there and yellow lamium and my ivy as a massive ground cover.  And I trimmed the cherry tree in another section of the garden.  It's spreading out and not up.

I'll take pictures of some of this other stuff tomorrow and share on a later post.  I just feel like knitting up quick bracelets right now and finishing the bag from my aunt's curtains.

Thinking of death and my mom's anniversary coming up.  Plus a friend's sister is in the hospital and it doesn't look good.  We're all praying for her to recover.

And it just all got to me last night.  These memories of death.  It started the year my Grammy died three months after Sean was born.  Then it was my Mom, then my Uncle Ron, then my Aunt Harriet, then my Uncle Wayne and my mom's cousin Sharon's husband Dean and last year my cousin lost her son.  And throw in some other people.  Death surrounds us.

Yet, I was sheltered from it when I was growing up.  My mother's grandmother died and she had an open casket when I went to her funeral in the third grade.  All I wondered was why she was so still.  It impacted me even then.

I remember going to class after the weekend and I was in a somber mood.  And then that was it until my Grammy.  And then it hit home that I was getting older and my relatives time had come.

My mother's anniversary of her death is coming up on the 26th of this month, three days before Mollyanne's birthday.  Mollyanne was born three days after she died.  It was the death and then the birth.  A time of very mixed emotions.

So, I think for her anniversary I will blog about my mother.

I think I'm going to crop this one later.

Weeping Willow at the end of their street.

The sun trying to poke through.

At the end of their road and across the street is Mazza's farm stand.  It's open from late spring all the way to fall time for pumpkin season.  Sean applied there last week and is hoping to get in.  It would be really nice for him as he would just have to walk down the road and he's there.  It would be a nice first job.  But he won't know until they say yes.  I love going down there for corn later in the season.

On the way to their house.  I was stopped at the lights and tried to capture the fog.  I wanted the fog off the river, but when I went to take the pictures, I could hardly see a thing so I didn't take any.  I might try another time at night.  Sometimes a foggy evening is cool too.
