EXPOSURE FOR YOUR BLOG...FREE AND EASY
Each week I'll use random.org to select a blog to visit, looking for one who has re-posted the blog hop on their blog (see directions below). Voila! That blog will become next week's Fine Feathered Friend, featured on the Flock Together Blog Hop's post, along with a brief introduction and their button. If I am unable to find one, I'll select someone who has posted the Flock Together Button on their blog. Here are directions:
Place the blog hop on YOUR blog too.
"A blog hop is a linky list that is SHARED ON MULTIPLE BLOGS. When several blogs put the same linky list code on their blog, the exact same list appears on each blog. Blog visitors can submit their entries on any blog that contains the list. The entries will appear on each blog where the list resides. Blog readers see the same list on each blog, and can "HOP" from blog to blog seeing the same list of links to follow: BLOG HOP!"
Sort of like lily pads, hence the name! Here's how to do it...
- Begin a post on your blog about the Flock Together Tuesday Blog Hop. Feel free to cut and paste as much or as little from my post if you like, which is usually published at 6 p.m. EST on Mondays.
- Go to my post and click on "Get the code here..." (found at the bottom)
- Copy the code in the box.
- On your post, switch to HTML view/mode ("Edit HTML" for Blogger folks), and paste the code where you want the blog hop to appear.
- Publish your post.
This is some of what you will see on her blog. It looks really neat. So I will try this out.
I am so new to blog hopping. I've never had my blog on some of the lists until today. On one of the places I also added my Etsy shop in the sewing and crafts blog hop.
I did try blog hopping on a few of my blogger friends blogs. Some of them happened to have a blog hop on their blog and I tried it out and started commenting on different blogs. It was really neat. I like it.
I'm wondering how new this blog hopping thing is. I mean, earlier this year, I didn't know that it even existed. I was just writing on my blog and doing the basic social bookmarking. Never mind a blog hop or serious commenting all over the internet.
Now, I am commenting on different blogs a lot more and leaving my comments. I do find that it adds traffic to mine. It's a nice easy way to hop from blog to blog and get a random blog and see if you like it.
Of course the other way is to go to a blog you like and then travel from their blog to their blog list of their favorite blogs. That would be the old fashioned way of blog hopping before someone created all these cool blog hop buttons.
Pretty neat.
And it seems like there is so many to choose from. Anybody interested in these should find the sites and sign up your blog too and be a part of the fun. And it will also increase your popularity as well.
The more the merrier!

ReplyDeleteOkay. This is weird. I've never had this before. Must mean that whoever wrote the comment must have deleted it. I know I wouldn't have deleted it. Oh well. Whatever it was, they probably didn't want it to show up.
