What is your most prized possession?

What is your most prized possession?  Is it your doll collection or another collection?  Or would your most prized possession by your family or your children?

I recently read through the most recent issue of Vanity Fair.  It had George Clooney, Matt Damon and Daniel Craig on the cover.  Matt Damon's most prized possession was his wife and his little girls.

But I got a little surprised by Daniel Craig's most prized possession.  His penis!  Go figure, he's one of them nitty gritty James Bond characters.  Perhaps a womanizer.  Yes, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that it is his penis.  I wonder if he puts it on a pedestal.

For me, my most prized possession would be my children.  They are my number one.  When you are a mother, your children are the most treasured thing that you live for.  They are a prized possession, but more than that, they are priceless.

You almost can't really possess them.  They are your's for many years, but as they become older, you can't really possess them.  They have minds of their own.  And as they grow up, they become their own person and they are the ones that will control their lives.

But they have your love forever.  You will always be their mom or dad.  Nothing can take that away.

Some people think that their most prized possessions are material things.  Don't get me wrong, we all love material things.  But when we die, we can't bring any of them with us.  All the material things are gone when we are dead.  They usually get passed on to someone else, but their importance after you are dead sometimes disappears out the door.

My most prized possessions would also be memories.  Those you can bring with you.  Perhaps in the rooms that we dwell in after we are dead, we can relive our memories forever.

Maybe another truly wonderful possession would be love.  Love conquers all.  Love is something you can't really hold.  It is the warmth of love that you can feel.  And yes, love can come with you when you die.  Love helps you to have to power to die.

Don't take your prized possessions for granted.  Make sure you know that it is probably the most important thing that you have.

Maybe a most prized possession isn't even a person.  Maybe your most prized possession is kindness or honesty.
